How This Page Came to Be

For a long time, I believed that social media was not meant for Christians, and that the internet is a dangerous place where Christians must act with great caution. In many ways, this is true. For that reason, I never thought I would write anything online—until a few years ago, when I felt God’s prompting to do so, specifically to begin writing on Facebook.

At first, I resisted this thought, but it would not leave me. Still, I did not believe that it was God speaking to me. Eventually, I decided to pray and ask God for confirmation. During prayer, I saw the numbers 1:63. I understood that this was a Bible verse. I took the Bible and began searching for it. I went through one book after another and almost lost hope that such a verse even existed. But in the end, I found it:

“And he asked for a writing tablet and wrote…”
(Luke 1:63, ESV)

At that moment, all doubt disappeared—God had spoken to me.

During that same prayer, I also saw a cherry tree, and that some of the cherries were being picked—not all of them. This page was created for those cherries. I hope that you will be among them.
